First memories of the club? Conor McGoldrick bringing me to play a U-16 hurling game v Sarsfields; my first ever hurling game!!
Who did you make your Naomh Treasa début against? My senior Debut was given to me by the late great Brendan Nugent against Ballycastle away, coming on at aged 17 and scoring a goal will be a memory I won’t forget!

Favourite thing about Naomh Treasa? The club members; team mates, parents, manager’s great family club
Favourite position?Whichever makes me do the least amount of running, so corner forward or nets.
Football or hurling (or both)? Love playing both, long may the club continue to do so.
What’s your favourite music? All kinds to be honest, Oasis would be favourite band.
What’s your favourite TV show? The Sunday Game
What’s your favourite movie? The Wolf Of Wall Street
What inter county player would you like on the Naomh Treasa team? Sean Cavanagh – whether he plays midfield or in the forward line he always a big influence on a game, although he didn’t shine too well when junior marked him in the all Ireland 7’s.
What 5 people alive or dead would you invite to a dinner party? Noel Gallagher, Kevin Bridges, David Beckham, Joe Brolly and Cheryl Cole.
What would you change about your game? Easy one – increased level of fitness
What are your hobbies outside the GAA? Football and travelling
Who is the worst/laziest player at training? Anton Taylor by a country mile… then myself to be fair
Naomh Treasa player you admire the most? Paul ‘Janty’ Johnston, always gives 100%, committed, fearless and hard as nails…
What’s the best piece of advice you ever received? Don’t pass to Dominic Adams
What’s your favourite GAA memory? I’d have to say it’s a tough one, Ulster Semi Final against Moville in 2009 or the Intermediate football win in 2013 against Portglenone. I’ll pick the intermediate final win, it was a fantastic achievement to win that competition against all the odds and got us into senior football championship where we hopefully will remain for a long time.
Who is the best hurler and footballer you have ever seen? Hurler; King Henry Shefflin unbelievable hurler 10 all Irelandsjust says it all and Football; Steven McDonnell, as a forward he was just incredible in front of goal.
Biggest influence on your sporting career? My Dad, Bobby. Drove me all over the country to play, train and watch games and would always be positive towards me even if I did have a terrible game.
